We are serious about the academic experience at LQA. We do everything we can to make learning fun in order to help each student discover the joy of learning.

At LQA, we use HighScope Curriculum and we adhere to Indiana Early Learning Foundations. HighScope is designed for preschool students and emphasizes adult-child interactions, a carefully designed learning environment, and a plan-do-review process that facilitates child-led exploration and reflection.

HighScope Centers will help your child develop skills in:

• social and emotional growth

• language, literacy, and communication

• mathematics

• creative arts

• science

• technology

STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. At the preschool level, we will be exposing our students to fun and interactive activities that will help them develop a passion for exploration and discovery. You can watch for more information about STEAM from your child's teacher!

Students will be assessed twice during the school year. Report cards will be sent home with students in October and May. And, parent-teacher conferences will be held in October. Progress reports will be sent home quarterly for students who receive special education services.
