Guilford Elementary’s PTO and parent volunteers outdid themselves today. They created a ballpark meal for teachers during their professional development day. It was absolutely delicious. We appreciate you.
District administrators love being invited to assist in classrooms. Today, Asst. Superintendent Mr. Wolfe (he oversees budgets and operations) ran Mrs. Carter's classroom store, with the lesson "Interest free loans for good behavior!" What a great way to spend a Friday afternoon.
Guilford students and staff were eager to continue the tradition of hosting a silent dismissal honoring our very own hometown heroes. We remember those who lost their lives on 9/11 and we are thankful and blessed to be surrounded by such amazing heroes here in Plainfield each day.
We are GEARING up for a fun week at Guilford Elementary School. Pay close attention to the dress up days we have planned for this week. We are celebrating homecoming week as a school and we can't wait to see what you find in your closet.
This Friday is going to be a fun day at Guilford Elementary! We invite students to participate in our Decades theme by dressing according to the era of their grade level. We'll also be dedicating the time capsule that was made to commemorate the opening of our school this year.
