During the month of February, our students have had the opportunity to visit the Imagination Lab to learn more about physical science - the mechanics of our world.
\r\n\r\nThrough the use of fairy tales, our students engaged their imaginations and problem solving skills to build homes for the Three Little Pigs out of legos, straws, and Keva sticks.
\r\nStudents were given the task of helping Little Red Riding Hood get to grandma's house with the use of ramps. If the ramp was too high, her car would break. If it was not high enough, she would not make it to grandma's home.
\r\nHansel and Gretel needed help putting out a fire. So the students used gears to put the flames to rest.
\r\nFinally, the prince was too heavy, so our students had to find a way to help him get to Rapunzel, Some students used a pulley. Others built an elevator. And still others built stairs! Students worked together as a team, came up with creative ideas, and put them to the test!
\r\n\r\n\r\nThrough hands-on-exploration, each child got to explore, imagine, play, and create!
