Native American Day for Kindergartens

Van Buren kindergartners participated in a Native American Day.  The students learned about planting and how the Native Americans used corn.  They made rhythm sticks, head dresses, and necklaces made with colored noodles.  They learned about the different symbols that they used and drew them on bear skins.  They worked with clay and made a pinch pot.  They had a storytime and enjoyed some popcorn.
