Nearly six weeks into the school year, students and construction workers continue to do their work, with little overlap or disruption.
The 4th grade classes recently moved back into their newly-updated rooms, while 3rd grade classes are in their temporary space for about two weeks. But except for some bare bulletin boards in the transitional classrooms, it appears that learning is happening like normal!
With a calm color palette of pale grays and blues, the mood is set. The new front office is quickly taking shape and will be more efficient, and more secure. Hallways are well lit and work well for small group projects.
We know that everyone is ready for the renovations to be complete, but with a great can-do spirit, it really does feel like life is normal at Van Buren!
