Here are some pictures from Mrs. Ash's class doing a potato investigation, They dug them up from Van Buren’s courtyard garden, washed them, measured them with cubes and weighted them. They also counted and talked about what the eye of a potato is. They decided that potatoes do not use their eyes to watch us. : ) Finally, they cooked them and made mashed potatoes to eat. Right now they are observing a potato in a dark area of their classroom.
