Literacy Night Luau
Literacy Night at Central Elementary this year was a luau! This was a fun free family event to promote a love of reading. The evening included different literacy-related stations with storytimes, writing sessions, games, escape rooms, reading with therapy dogs, crafting, learning to play the ukulele, and creating your own lei. Approximately 225 Central students participated with their families!
Thanks go out to our amazing PTO for organizing this great event and to teachers Mrs. Maple, Mr. Kamm, Mrs. Roach, Mrs. Stultz, and Ms. Carmichael for volunteering at the event! A great time was had by all!
