Plainfield parents, businesspeople, and community members hear a lot about how education has changed ... and have all sorts of questions about what we do and why we do it.
How do you pay for all this? | Why do you have so many late buses? | Why can't I pick my child's elementary school?
That's why we created Quaker Allies.
In just one short school day, Allies gives you a behind-the-scenes tour of what today's classrooms are like and a better understanding of what it takes to educate tomorrow's leaders.
You'll visit several classrooms, several different schools, and The Imagination Lab, all while having conversations with key administrators about everything from how funding works, to how curriculum is created, to what's involved in transporting and feeding thousands of students every day. Most of all, you'll get answers to all the burning questions you have while getting a firsthand look at how Plainfield is bringing joy to learning.
There's no charge, no grand prizes (but maybe some small ones), and we'll feed and transport you.
Join us and become one of our Quaker Allies!
