2nd graders practiced creativity and collaboration last week after reading My Mouth is a Volcano. Students learned that just like our words can't be taken back after they are said.. toothpaste can't go back into the tube after it is squeezed out! What a fun connection.
Do you have a Growth Mindset? Central CHAMPS across the building learn about the importance of "yet" throughout the school year. Mrs. Weaver's class read Giraffes Can't Dance, a great book about Growth Mindset, and collaborated to create marshmallow towers.
