On a perfect spring afternoon this week, third grade students from Clarks Creek Elementary lined the track and waited for visitors to the 2019 Wax Museum to arrive. The remaining Clarks Creek students took turns visiting the exhibits, and adoring parents, grandparents and siblings made their way to visit each statue.
They were greeted by well-researched, perfectly-coiffed versions of some of history's more famous legends: Elvis, Rosa Parks, Madame Curie, Babe Ruth, Julia Childs, Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth, Grover Cleveland, Freddie Mercury and many, many more.
The pride of their work and the care with which they created their costumes made for a wonderful experience for museum visitors. And most likely, an unforgettable history lesson for the students.
