It was so fun this past week to see all of the 4th and 5th grade Battle of the Books teams competing and engaging in their love of reading! A huge shout out goes to our wonderful librarian, Mrs. Price, for all of the work that she did behind the scenes to make it so fun and successful for the students!
Mrs. Hess' and Mrs. A Johnson's classes used the 4 C's during their weekly book buddies time to complete a fun STEM activity.

2nd graders have been learning about animal adaptations and habitats throughout the month of April. What better way to learn than to visit the animals at the zoo?! This week, the 2nd graders will be using what they learned from their field trip to write an animal report.

Plainfield's Walkathon is this Friday!
Last week, Central 5th graders enjoyed their field trip to Biztown where they got to put what they have learned about economics into action. What a fun trip and great experience!
4th graders always have such a great time on their field trip to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to help them learn more about Indiana's rich history with racing. This year was no exception!

Central enjoyed another successful All Pro Dads breakfast last Friday before school! Our next one will be Friday, April 22nd at 7:30 am in the gymnasium.
